Artist's Statement:

Growing up in Hawai‘i in the 2000's, my life was shaped by a fascination with aviation, space, and science fiction. The dawn of the information age promised a future of limitless creativity, where advances in CGI and personal computing meant one could conjure entire worlds from imagination alone.

Today, those early hopes for a bold new future feel increasingly unfulfilled. Media has settled into cycles of sequels and remakes, and the tools that once symbolized freedom of expression are now more constrained and profit-centric than ever. The market for creative content feels hypersaturated and nigh-impossible to break into.

There's never been more, and yet there's never been less.

My current series explores these themes through digital art, film and animation. It reflects childhood passions and the optimism of early digital culture—an era when originality thrived, and art wasn’t optimized for algorithms or engagement metrics. Through these pieces, I aim to evoke both nostalgia and a hope for resurgeance: a return to the spirit of digital experimentation, and a reminder of the future that should have been.

Do you use AI?

"Yes, but." My digital art and creative writing will never. I do those purely for the enjoyment of the art form.

For film and game development, I believe that if employed in a high-effort manner, to push limits rather than cut costs or churn out slop, it can empower an individual to express their world in a way never thought possible. It's the only way I stand a chance to compete with a billion-dollar studio.

Are you open to commissions?

Yes, subject to availability. You can contact me with the info here for further inquiry. Rates generally are flat at $99 plus printing and shipping costs.

Can I order prints of your work or other merchandise?

I have previously had merchandise available, and am currently reworking the process. Please check back in later.

Haven't you been working on that damn movie for like 7 years now?

Yep. Although at this point, it should really be considered a second, completely separate production.

I've produced a unique version in a VHS mockumentary format, that is much truer to my original vision than before. It's fully complete now and currently pending distribution.
